The project comprises two iconic towers, a 39-story residential tower with 312 apartments, including 198 one-bedroom, 98 two-bedroom and 16 three-bedroom units, with all three-bedroom units featuring private jacuzzis and panoramic lagoon views, and a 19-story commercial tower offering 11,000 m² of shell-and-core office space with adaptable layouts to cater to diverse business needs. This integration of residential, commercial and retail spaces ensures connectivity and convenience, positioning Al Vista as a new benchmark for modern urban living.

The ABG New Headquarter is a high-end mixed-use building designed to be cutting-edge, environmentally friendly and energy efficient. It comprises 5 basements and 15 upper floors with a built-up area of 26,000 m2. Our scope of works encompasses all skeleton works, including steel structure and structural concrete works of around 18,000 m3.

ABG New Headquarters, Skeleton Works

Civil works are projects where the greater proportion of the works involves earthworks, the construction of bridges, dams and the like. They also play a necessary and important role in the realization of a power plant. Entreprises A.R. Hourie has brought to a successful conclusion a diverse range of civil works projects. Working with Ansaldo Energia Spa, Hourie has successfully completed the Zahrani power station.

Industrial Civil Works

Eight Beit Misk is a luxury residential project consisting of eight high-end finished villas with private infinity pools, indoor parking, green-concept pitched roofs with special solar-energy-producing brick tiles, floor heating, gardens and common green areas with two main basalt-laid serving ramps. The total built-up area is 5,975 m2. All elevations are cladded with white stones mechanically fixed and governed by elevated Schüco aluminum fenestration with glass balustrades, aluminum shutters and Alucobond cladding at each opening.

Construction of a rainwater drainage network consisting of reinforced concrete structures (rectangular channels and culverts): 2,150 ML for the Gesco connection collector at Port Bouet II and 1,990 ML for the Port Bouet II collector, including work to clear rights-of-way, divert water, relocate networks, general earthworks, rockfill and slope protection, construction of wastewater treatment pipes and various developments (vehicle and pedestrian protection barriers, footbridges, etc.)

Hourie is proud of the key role it has played in bringing the vibrant heart of Beirut back to life in the aftermath of a 15-year-long (1975-1990) civil war and the devastating explosion of the port of Beirut in 2021.

The project consists of the complete transformation of the basement, ground floor and mezzanine of the former Empire Cinemas in Centre Sofil, with their two large cinema halls and two shops, into an upscale showroom for the Intermeuble furniture brand. The extensive renovation works over a total built-up area of 1,350 m² comprise demolition, structural strengthening, metal and steel structures, as well as high-end finishing works including glass partitioning, specialty flooring, intricate false ceiling works amongst others. Moreover, the project includes the addition of a kitchen, cafeteria, and restrooms with all their related electromechanical works.

Hourie has successfully completed Clemenceau Medical Center, Beirut’s state-of-the art private hospital, designed to offer patients the most innovative treatments and technologies available in the region. CMC is fully equipped with the most modern and advanced medical equipment, the first of its kind in the surrounding region.

Medical

The project is located at the 2030 building in Achrafieh, Beirut. It consists of the renovation of a residential apartment on the 25th floor, covering a total area of approximately 431 square meters. Works involve civil, architectural, MEP and finishes. The project aims to reform and optimize the existing spaces to better serve the needs of the Client. This comprises structural enhancements, layout redesign and installation of new fixtures, all the while ensuring compliance with safety standards, in alignment with Hourie’s commitment to providing superior facilities and services and focus on delivering improved functionality.

The scope of work covered complete civil, finishing and electromechanical works, including masonry, aluminum partitioning, kitchens, toilets and service utilities. The project featured an exposed-ceiling design requiring high-precision electromechanical installations, along with advanced security systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm and firefighting systems) in line with United Nations standards. A specialized system consisting of Shatter Resistance Film (SRF) was installed on glass facades for anti-blast protection.

Street Hardscaping

Funded by UNICEF, the project consists of the construction of a New School Building in Mazraat Yachouh area, comprising a four-level building. It provides classrooms and facilities for kindergarten, preliminary, elementary and secondary sections. The total constructed area is 5,977 m² excluding external car parking and external works.

Solar Energy

The project involves the installation of electrical and low-voltage networks for the navigation systems of two new airports. The scope of works includes the excavation of 15 km of underground trenches, the construction of 5 transformer rooms, and the laying of a 250-meter-long and 6-meter-wide asphalt road. The project must be completed and handed over within a 6-month timeframe.
