High-Rise

Construction of a new building for New Lebanese Army Naval Academy at Jounieh Naval Base, The project consists of a ground floor and 3 upper floors, with a total built-up area of 5,555 m². Scope of work includes the complete construction of this new turn-key building: earth reinforcement by piles, concrete works, finishes, electromechanical work and site landscaping. The building will house simulator spaces, workshops, offices, training rooms, classrooms, showers, sanitary areas, storage spaces and other services to best serve the training of officers and soldiers.

Restoration or rehabilitation projects bring sites or buildings back to their historic functions. Immersed in an environment steeped in history, Entreprises A.R. Hourie is proud of the key role it has played in bringing the vibrant heart of Beirut back to life in the aftermath of a 15-year-long (1975-1990) civil war and the devastating explosion of the port of Beirut in 2021.

Restoration

Entreprises A.R. Hourie has worked hand in hand with the Lebanese Navy and the Lebanese Air Force to build and/or retrofit bases across Lebanon.

Defense

Tower is composed of 27 floors, ground floor, mezzanine and one basement, with a total height of 120 m. It consists of a steel structure with main cores in concrete. Built-up area is 22,000 m².

The project includes retrofitting the offices of the World Bank Group in Beirut, Lebanon to anti-seismic standards. Scope of works includes all finishes for 2 basements, ground floor, mezzanine and 6 floors. Built-up area is 5,500 m².

Educational

Funded by UNICEF, the project consists of the construction of a New School Building in Mazraat Yachouh area, comprising a four-level building. It provides classrooms and facilities for kindergarten, preliminary, elementary and secondary sections. The total constructed area is 5,977 m² excluding external car parking and external works.

They also play a necessary and important role in the realization of a power plant. Entreprises A.R. Hourie has brought to a successful conclusion a diverse range of civil works projects. Working with Ansaldo Energia Spa, Hourie has successfully completed the Zahrani power station.

Industrial Civil Works

Development and rehabilitation works of transportation infrastructure of 6 road networks with a total length of 10 km (Lot 1: lanes 3, 10, 13 and Lot 2: lanes 16, 17, 18) in the Autonomous Port area of Abidjan. Works include clearing of rights-of-way, general earthworks, construction of pavement layers, sanitation and drainage, signage, public lighting as well as environmental and social protection. The project is part of the "Greater Abidjan Competitiveness Support Project."

Entreprises A.R. Hourie specializes in street finishing and hardscraping since its founding in 1966. Works typically include pavement reconstruction, drainage works, asphalting, lighting, signage, street furniture and traffic markings.

Street Hardscaping

The project involves the installation of electrical and low-voltage networks for the navigation systems of two new airports. The scope of works includes the excavation of 15 km of underground trenches, the construction of 5 transformer rooms, and the laying of a 250-meter-long and 6-meter-wide asphalt road. The project must be completed and handed over within a 6-month timeframe.

The project consists of five luxurious residential villas in the Nadd Al Shiba area in Dubai. Two villas have each a basement floor, a ground floor and one upper level, while the remaining three villas include a ground floor and one upper level. All villas include underground service tanks and pump rooms, a swimming pool as well as indoor and outdoor water features. The total built-up area of the project is approximately 11,000 m² and the scope includes earthworks, shoring, structural and civil works as well as finishing, electro-mechanical, high-end interior decoration, soft and hard landscaping works.
