  • Handling the procurement and bid-and-award phases for each trade in a meticulous and transparent manner that analyzes scopes of work for completeness and compliance with the project’s specifications.

  • Assigning the award of subcontracts to seasoned subcontractors through a rigorous vetting procedure and an exhaustive bid-and-award process.

  • Reviewing thoroughly the wording of all its subcontracts by a dedicated and seasoned in-house professional in the field of Contract Management .

  • Preparing detailed schedules , which take into account all project parameters, by a dedicated and seasoned in-house professional in the field of Planning Management .

  • Using standardized technical submittals generated via a Microsoft Office SharePoint/Nintex web application platform, which is accessible in real time by all Hourie team members, irrespective of location, in a cloud-based, firewall-protected environment. The system takes full advantage of standardized cost codes, streamlined supplier and subcontractor specialty trades and coordinates, and detailed human resources information.

  • Implementing strict inspection procedures on site to ensure and verify that the specified requirements have been met upon the receipt of materials and equipment.

  • Submitting detailed method statements that address every aspect of the installation of particular scopes of work.

  • Tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI) , e.g., the percentage of rejected Shop Drawing Submittals (SDS), to make sure that they consistently score within acceptable norms, thus confirming customer satisfaction.

  • Performing twice-a-year internal audits of entire departments (procurement, estimating, cost control, human resources, etc.) and implementing corrective actions, on an expedited basis.
