October 5, 2023 – Two years in the making, the Naval Forces School at Jounieh Naval Base was inaugurated today by German Ambassador designate, Mr. Kurt Stoeckl-Stillfried, General Carsten Breuer of the German Armed Forces, Admiral Michael Busse of UNIFIL, along with German defense attaché Mr. Kai Zimmerman and Lebanese Army Commander General Joseph Aoun. This project, funded by the German government, marks a significant milestone.
