May 2023 – The new offices of the World Bank Group in Beirut involved a comprehensive renovation by Entreprises A.R. Hourie of its 1976 building, which was structurally retrofitted to bring it to modern anti-seismic standards with the challenging addition of micro-piles, shear walls and column-jacketing. Its successful inauguration enabled the prestigious Washington D.C.-based organization to relocate from their temporary offices to resume full-fledged operations in Lebanon.
