June 9, 2022 – The new School of Architecture at the American University of Beirut was inaugurated today. Designed by Raed Abillama Architects and Dar Al-Handasah (Shair & Partners), the challenging project was undertaken by Entreprises A.R. Hourie while the school was in full operation. The building includes teaching spaces, a lecture hall, laboratories and studios, in addition to the department’s main office, faculty offices, as well as exhibition and archives spaces.
