Founded in 1966, Entreprises A.R. Hourie was since its inception one of the leading Lebanese contracting companies to execute high-quality construction projects. Emphasizing on infrastructure projects and roadworks for the first three decades, the company ushered in a new chapter in 1994 by entering into the building’s construction sector. This activated a culture of renewal that shifted Entreprises A.R. Hourie from a successful single-sector contractor into one of Lebanon’s leading general contracting practices, commissioned for some of the country’s biggest projects across a wide spectrum of construction types: offices, residential, headquarters, hospitality, mixed-use, educational, religious, medical, warehouses, ports, roads and bridges, and street finishing and hardscaping.

Over the last 30 years, Entreprises A.R. Hourie has substantially penetrated the private sector and the building construction market, and quintupled in size.

Today, Entreprises A.R. Hourie provides repeat and new clients with a full range of general contracting services for complex civil works and large buildings in Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Cyprus and the Ivory Coast.
